Best known safe boating course
Covers boat equipment, operation, navigation, tide & currents, boating laws and procedures - with emphasis on safety.
Provides the student with a U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Certificate for having completed the basic boating safety course taught only by this organization (10 total hours of classroom training.)

 OCTOBER 14th to November 18th
     “Weekend Navigator”, PART I class, five Wed. sessions, 7:00-9:30 pm
     Wednesdays 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/18

•	Understand and learn to use marine electronic equipment for safe boating;
•	Use a hand held GPS unit, provided to each student for hands-on training in class; practice dead reckoning , plotting and trip planning using local charts,.
•	Additional navigation tools provided for each student’s use .
•	Class is specifically tailored to our local waterway surroundings.

12 1/2 total hours of classroom training. Text available in class.
NOVEMBER 14th -- SATURDAY
     ABS – “About Boating Safely”, 8 hrs, one-day, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Note :  Odd skips in Wed. dates are due to holidays and non-school days to allow for PHHS Open House.
